I can never be grateful enough...
I can never be grateful enough to the friend who presented Christian Science to me early in 1949, when I was in a state of nervous exhaustion and on the verge of complete collapse. I had reached the point where I did not think I could continue the struggle, for life simply did not seem worth living. My friend very kindly borrowed a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy for me from a Reading Room and suggested that I consult a practitioner. After reading the chapter on Prayer, I knew that I had found the answer to my problems, which I realized were all the result of my having left God out of my life for many years.
I consulted a practitioner and left her office, after my first treatment, restored in health; all feeling of exhaustion and nervousness had left me. This healing has been permanent, for I can work long hours and never become tired or feel any lack of energy.
