It is with sincere gratitude that I bear witness to the healing power of Christian Science, which is the same truth as that which Jesus said would make us free. It is over forty years ago that I came to this Science for the healing of appendicitis. I asked for treatment from a practitioner and began the study of Mrs. Eddy's writings. The healing came quickly; and in all the years since then my every need has been met by the application of the truth. I am grateful for the happiness and peace it has brought me, for the protection I have had while traveling, and for guidance in everyday life.

The blessing of membership in The Mother Church and a branch church, as well as that of class instruction, has been mine. I am grateful to God and to Christ Jesus, who showed us our relationship to God, who is ever present with us. I am also grateful to Mrs. Eddy, who through her consecrated life received the revelation of Christian Science and gave it to the world, thus bringing the true understanding of God to mankind.
