THE TIME FOR DEMONSTRATING TRUTH IS NOW

What incalculable blessings are lost to the sincere student of Christian Science who injects the error of doubt into his life by thinking that demonstration of Truth only follows some vague time period of study! How often many of us have said to ourselves, in effect, "I know that God is All-in-all, and I shall be so happy when I can prove this in solving my problems."

When we think that, we are postponing the realization of the truth we profess to know. In what recorded healing did Jesus or any of his disciples ever say, "You will be cured three or six months from now"? The time for the demonstration of God's love is always now.

This great lesson was revealed to the writer at a time when he was struggling with financial problems thrust upon him, but beyond his responsibility and beyond his control. He was ignorantly trying, without so meaning, to store up the truth, one might say. But that solved nothing. The answer to the problem came when he suddenly realized that his first responsibility was the demonstration of man's relationship to his Maker and the maintaining of his own faith and constancy in understanding this.
