I should be very ungrateful if I did not share with others my gratitude for the healings I have received through the study of Christian Science. At the time I found this Science I had been under the treatment of a physician almost three years for thyroid gland trouble, which was not being overcome. In addition I had been informed that I had a lung infection and should not work.

At my place of employment I found a Sentinel which had been left by a literature distribution committee, to whom I am very grateful. Through reading the articles I was completely healed. I learned that all is Mind and that God is our Life. Also I learned of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. I secured a copy of it and began a new experience in life.

The Bible promises (Mark 6: 50), "Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid," and (I Pet. 5:6, 7), "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you," have helped me greatly to see the light of Truth and Love. Besides having been completelv healed of the thyroid gland difficulty and the lung infection, I have also been healed of the cigarette habit, of an unruly temper, and of nervousness.
