When Christian Science came to my notice I was suffering from indigestion, for which I had used many medical remedies without gaining relief. A woman who was a student of this Science loaned me the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. In its teachings I found the Christ, Truth, by which all ills can be healed. When I learned that neither food nor stomach can cause suffering without the consent of mortal mind, I was healed. After this I could eat anything without suffering. It is now over thirty years since this happened, and I have not used any kind of medicine in that time.

An attack of influenza was healed in three days by my study of Science and Health. Later I suffered a nervous breakdown and was in mental anguish. One minute I wanted to die; the next I was afraid of the grave. I had no interest in life, but knowing that God has "no pleasure in the death of him that dieth" (Ezek. 18:32), I earnestly studied Science and Health and requested help from a dear practitioner. In a month I was healed and felt as though I were reborn.

Great is my gratitude to God and to his servant, Mrs. Eddy, who has brought so much healing and comfort to the world. I feel greatly blessed in being a member of The Mother Church and a branch church. My desire is to prove myself worthy of all the good that God has bestowed on me.—Robert Wuthrich, Rupert, Idaho.
