Not only does Christian Science...

Not only does Christian Science heal the sick and sinning, but it is a means of protection as well. I had a proof of God's protecting power about a year ago. Late one night, while driving home from a church meeting, I was singing Hymn No. 78 from the Christian Science Hymnal, which begins with the words, "God is my strong salvation," when a car with two men in it forced my car to the curb. One man opened his door and called, "Lady, you have a flat tire." I did not stop my car, but turned the corner quickly and drove on home, where I found the tires in good condition.

I had no fear at any time, but was curious to know why the men had attempted to stop me. However, when the next morning's papers told of a daring holdup with the use of a stolen car at about the same time I was accosted, I knew a guardian angel had protected me. I am grateful for this experience of protection and for many others; they have taught me to be alert at all times.

Words cannot express my gratitude for Christian Science and for what it is doing for all mankind. I am most grateful to be a member of The Mother Church and a branch church, where we learn to sing our praise to God and learn more of His love.—(Mrs.) Edith Luehman, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
