I am grateful for the revelation...

I am grateful for the revelation in my experience that God does not know evil. When this great truth appeared to me through my study of Christian Science, I was instantaneously healed of the smoking habit, social drinking, and profanity. No longer did I feel any need for vitamin pills and injections for vitality, and a nervous habit of fingernail biting ceased. At the same time I gained an inner peace that has been most gratifying.

It was only natural that I should then take the footsteps of membership in The Mother Church and in a branch Church of Christ, Scientist. The privilege of serving in church work is a blessing to me, for it brings much joy and satisfaction.

I am increasingly grateful for a deeper understanding of the import of the definition of "Church," as given by Mrs. Eddy in Science and Health, which reads in part (p. 583), "The structure of Truth and Love; whatever rests upon and proceeds from divine Principle."— Ralph Otto Tobler, Chicago, Illinois.
