Every earnest student of Christian Science makes progress. This is inevitable. Looking back over the twelve years I have been studying Christian Science. I feel deeply grateful for every avenue which aids us in our progress from sense to Soul.

My former outlook has changed from one of believing in luck and superstition to confident assurance of God's ample provision for each one of His children at all times. There can be no fear of an unknown future when we are resting in the consciousness of the ever-presence of all-encompassing divine Love.

Through the help of a Christian Science practitioner I was healed of an abscess in the ear. The abscess burst, and I was deaf for a time; but perfect hearing was restored, and the healing has been permanent. Once, just after reading an article in the Sentinel on protection, I went into the kitchen and attempted to clarify some boiling fat by pouring in boiling water. In a few seconds there was a loud report, and the contents of the basin was scattered in all directions. I am grateful for the consciousness of protection. I felt as if I were completely outside of the experience. No drop of water or fat touched me or my clothing.
