My testimony is long overdue...
My testimony is long overdue, but I give it now in the hope that it will benefit others. I gratefully acknowledge God's loving care, made evident in my experience through the application of Christian Science.
An uncle was the first of my relatives to take up the study of Christian Science, and he introduced it to my mother, who became an earnest student thereafter. Some years later, when I was stricken with what was considered a dread disease, the aid of a practitioner in a neighboring city was enlisted. During the trying weeks that followed, an aunt who had formerly been a medical nurse, but who had just begun to study Science, and a more experienced Christian Science friend of the family came frequently to our home and gave us their loving assistance.
