My introduction to Christian Science was through a Sentinel given to me many years ago when I was badly in need of healing, mentally and physically. I had been suffering for several years from a serious heart and stomach condition and from other ailments, and was discouraged and confused.

After I had read one paragraph of the first article in that Sentinel I felt as though a great load had been lifted from me, and by the time I had finished the article I knew that I had found what I had been looking for and where I could get the help I needed.

I purchased a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and through reading the book and attending Christian Science church services I was soon healed and was able to eat whatever was set before me, instead of dieting and taking various kinds of drugs, as I had previously done.
