To give this testimony of God's healing and protective power has long been my desire. My gratitude is unbounded for having been born and raised in Christian Science and for the spiritual strength and guidance of in parents in helping to solve what seemed to me difficult problems. The healing truths I gained from the Christian Science Sunday School have been of great value in bringing up our four children . They were all born in a Christian Science nursing home, and the experiences were most harmonious. Three of these children were enrolled in the Sunday School before they were two, and they look forward to every session with joy.

Proof that God's protection is ever available is evidenced in the following experience. One day as we were turning a corner the door on my side of the car flew open, and our eight-months-old son and I were thrown to the street. The baby landed about fifteen feet from me, and I immediately got up and rushed to him, declaring "the scientific statement of being," as given in our textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy (p. 468). The boy was crying very hard, and for a while nothing seemed to quiet him. However, I continued declaring the truth that God's child is perfect, and he was soon quieted. Aside from skinned knees and arms we were not hurt. These quickly healed, and we gave thanks to our heavenly Father for our protection.

There have been healings in our family of colds, measles, bad temper, headaches, and a mashed finger. Solely through the aid of a Christian Science practitioner a deep cut on the back of our youngest son's head closed and completely healed. Whooping cough, suffered by one of the children when he was five months of age, was overcome when my fears and those of my husband were destroyed by a patient and loving practitioner.
