SIMPLICITY
Let
us not wrap clear thought
In things obscure,
But unadulterated keep God's Word
Unaltered, pure.
Let us not live in mist
Where life appears
In wild distortion, tear-bedimmed, confused,
Full of strange fears.
Let us hold what God made,
Finished, and blessed—
Man and the universe complete in Life,
With love expressed.
