Through the study and application of Christian Science I have received numerous blessings, which include healings of physical disorders and the solution of financial problems.

My first healing was that of gall bladder and colon trouble, I had been operated on before, and when physicians advised me that I would have to undergo another operation but gave me little hope of recovery, I decided that I would rather pass on than go through a similar experience. I fully expected to pass on and felt the need for a better understanding of God, which I earnestly sought. I was led to investigate Christian Science and immediately obtained a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. The first words I read were on page 283, where Mrs. Eddy says, "Mind is the source of all movement, and there is no inertia to retard or check its perpetual and harmonious action." I did not read the entire sentence, but pondered for hours the words, "Mind is the source of all movement."

At the end of that time I knew that I was healed, I saw that God is the one and only Mind, and I was ready to put my trust in Him alone, I went to the medicine cabinet and threw out all the drugs which were there, I have taken no medicine of any kind since then. This healing took place about seventeen years ago, and there has never been the slightest return of the trouble. Later I experienced healings of sick headaches, broken bones, and severe burns, as well as of many other ills.
