QUIET CONFIDENCE

Stars are quiet in their cosmic circlings.
Dawn is silent scattering night.
These are but symbols of Love's all-power;
They mark the stillness of infinite might.

No thunderous evil, no raging storm,
No foreign noise produced anywhere.
Can threaten destruction or put to flight
The healing power of silent prayer.
