In gratitude for what Christian Science...

In gratitude for what Christian Science has done and is doing for me I submit this testimony. I hope that it may benefit those who are endeavoring to learn of the power, presence, and love of God, and of His Christ.

Over thirty years ago I was suffering severely from laryngitis and pharyngitis. I was having treatment from a medical physician, but to no avail. Although I did not know anything of Christian Science, I called a practitioner for help. He came to see me and gave me a treatment. I had not had a night's rest in months, but shortly after his departure I fell asleep and did not awaken until ten o'clock the next morning. I was healed, and I rejoice to say that in the intervening thirty years I have never taken any material remedy.

I immediately started to read Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. Since my first healing I have been healed of headaches, constipation, hemorrhoids, tonsillitis, and colds. A wen which had disfigured the top of my head for many years disappeared through my understanding its unreality.
