Christian Science has been my rock of strength for the last twenty-six years. My first healing was one of extreme nervousness. As a result of this healing my mother took up the study of Christian Science in earnest; and through her uplifted thought our home, which had at times been very discordant, became a happy one, and my father's business improved at once. As we have honestly sought the kingdom of God first we have never lacked anything.

Since then I have had many healings, including those of measles, sties, whooping cough, colds, coughs, influenza, a sprained ankle, and a badly poisoned leg. Through the consecrated work of practitioners, both in this country and in Argentina, where I had always lived until I came to England in 1949, I have found happy and harmonious homes when I have put God first and self-will aside. When my parents passed on it was proved to me that Christian Science is indeed the Comforter.

I am truly grateful for God's guidance in all my affairs. Although I have been perverse and foolish on many occasions, I have, like the prodigal son, always found the way back to the Father's house.
