When on that glorious Easter morn the man of Nazareth triumphantly stepped forth from that lonely tomb, he fulfilled Bible prophecy and proved with awesome finality the truths he had taught— that man is the son of God and can find within himself "the kingdom of heaven," the peace, dominion, and immortality foretold by the Messianic prophets of Old Testament times.

Many there were who had heeded this man who spake as "never man spake," who had witnessed his proof of God's love for man by healing the sick and sinning and raising the dead and dying. And yet when this gentle teacher admonished the pharisaical religionists for their spiritual barrenness, they were incensed and complained to the godless bureaucrats of the Roman Empire that this man "stirreth up the people." And they conspired to put him to shame and death.
