FINDING GOD EVER PRESENT

Proof positive of the great spiritual fact that God is indeed ever present to help in trouble was experienced by a friend many years ago when she was struggling to find peace after doctors had pronounced her physical condition incurable and given her but two years to live. She had a large family who needed her care, and this verdict presented a disheartening picture to her. One day when she was studying the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, her youngest daughter, Audrey, came into the room with a little playmate. The mother heard her say to him, "Edgar, let's look for God."

Edgar replied, "Sure, but where shall we look?"

The answer was, "Why, in the Bible of course." Audrey took the large Bible from the table, and she and Edgar sat on the floor with it between them. As she turned the pages, she said, "See, Edgar; here is God—G-O-D—and here and here."
