My entire happiness I owe to Christian Science. I first attended a Christian Science Sunday School at the age of three and have known no other religion. I spent a happy and harmonious childhood because my parents, who were Christian Scientists, constantly followed the Christ-example.

During the Second World War I suffered for some time from kidney trouble, It was then that I became more familiar with Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and through the help of a consecrated practitioner this disease was completely overcome.

Although I was greatly uplifted and sustained by Christian Science and by the help of a loving friend at the passing on of a member of my family, there followed months of grief. However, a growing realization came to me that the one who had passed on could never be separated from the love of God and that God is my Father-Mother, my only Parent. I went humbly to Him, mentally kneeling before Him, and as a mother comforts her child when in trouble, so God tenderly and gently comforted me; and my grief was healed.
