It gives me great satisfaction to testify to the efficacy of Christian Science. I have been a student of Science for many years and have had innumerable proofs of its power to heal.

Without specific work being done for poor eyesight, I discarded glasses I had used for several years. Over two years ago I was troubled with a persistent case of diabetes and asked for help from a Christian Science practitioner. During this time I ate normally and was active at my daily occupation. The practitioner worked faithfully for me for some time, and finally, through her help and my own application of the truth which I had learned from my study of our textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, I was completely healed.

Later a serious infection of the bladder and kidneys developed, causing me much pain. In "Retrospection and Introspection" Mrs. Eddy writes (p. 61), "Christian Science reveals the fact that, if suffering exists, it is in the mortal mind only, for matter has no sensation and cannot suffer." I clearly realized the truth of this statement, and with the help of a practitioner I was healed. Two large stones passed from the kidneys.
