I wish to express gratitude to God and to our Leader. Mrs. Eddy, for what Christian Science has done for me.

Before I knew of this Science. I spent much time in hospitals under the care of doctors, I had had a number of operations, but I was still suffering. Through my reading the textbook. Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and having help from a practitioner, I was healed, and the healing has remained permanent.

I have also had many other healings. These include burns, colds, pain in the chest, and grief at the passing on of loved ones. A case of smallpox was healed in our home with the help of a Christian Science practitioner.

I am very grateful for "the scientific statement of being" (ibid., p. 468), also for the practitioners who have helped me many times. My desire is to know and do the will of God.—(Mrs.) Esther Hill, Ramage, West Virginia.
