CERTITUDE OF VISION

Who finds the inner brightness of the Soul
Puts off the hindering whither and the why,
Puts on the ancient yea—the certain, whole,
Unalterable, and eternal aye, and aye.
For here there is no coming and no going,
No searching through a dim, mist-shrouded night;
There are no nebulous illusions, no undoing,
No clouding of the primal promised sight.
Who moves into this way of valid seeing
Shall have authentic reverence for the day,
Shall see that light has no divorce from being,
That Truth cannot depart its sacred way.
He walks upon the hills in radiance clad
Whose certitude of vision makes him glad.
