After many years made joyous and fruitful through the study and application of Christian Science I should like to express my gratitude. Neither my husband nor I was brought up in Christian Science. He turned to it for help regarding a business problem, and then I became interested and began to study it. Later we joined The Mother Church and a branch church and then had class instruction. I have found that blessings go hand in hand with church activity.

During my growth in the understanding of Christian Science my demonstrations of God's goodness have been abundant. My first blessing was the normal and harmonious birth of our son after it had appeared that a Caesarian section would be needed. It was a beautiful proof of the truth that "when man is governed by God, the ever-present Mind who understands all things, man knows that with God all things are possible" (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, p. 180).

Our two sons have had Christian Science since infancy, and I learned early in my experience to place them in God's care. The human sense of parenthood is sometimes very tenacious, but Christian Science teaches that God is the Father-Mother of all. It is helpful to realize this truth and to know that His children express intelligent individuality. Obedience to God has helped them to progress in the truth. I shall always be grateful to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for having instituted the Christian Science Sunday School, where children can learn the practical truth which gives them a firm foundation. The so-called children's diseases touched our children very lightly. Measles disappeared overnight.
