It is a great privilege to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me. While employed at a summer resort where there is no Christian Science church I found our literature a great help. One day while I was chopping ice and ice pick went into my hand. I immediately declared the truth as taught in Christian Science. There was no pain and no fear. Soon the evidence of the wound disappeared, and the healing was complete.

At one time the filling of one of my teeth came out. The truth was again declared. In a few days the tooth filled naturally, and I was able to eat hot and cold food without any pain. Also corns on my feet have been removed by my declaring the truth. There have been healings of many other discordant conditions, such as headaches, a sprained ankle, vomiting, and the effects of being hit by an automobile. The last two conditions mentioned were healed through the loving help of Christian Science practitioners. In a large manufacturing company in which I worked I was excused at my request from having to be examined by a physician. When stating my willingness to accept the responsibility, I joyfully recognized that God is my sure defense against all harm.

I am most grateful for membership in The Mother Church and in branch churches in cities where I have lived, also for former membership in a Christian Science Organization at a university, as well as for the many opportunities that are mine to express Godlike qualities and to be of service. I am very grateful for the privilege of attending a Christian Science Sunday School and the great benefit received from doing so.—William Edward Malish, Toledo, Ohio.
