Many years ago Christian Science came to my attention through a friend who told me of this beautiful religion and of the marvelous healings accomplished through God's goodness. There always had been with me a desire for a satisfying religion and a seeking for a sense of peace and security. When I heard of Christian Science I knew I had found that for which I had been seeking.

I had not thought much about healing, but as I caught glimpses of Truth my physical health began to improve, and many healings came to me not only through the patience and loving-kindness of practitioners, but also through my own study of Christian Science. Through God's infinite goodness I have been healed of burns and of injuries received in accidents. Fear of traveling alone and of driving a car has been overcome. The need of a home has been met, and lost legal papers have been returned.

In my early experience of Christian Science a friend who was not a Scientist asked me for help for a sore throat. My reply to her was, "God never made a sore throat; so man cannot have it." The following morning the throat was healed, and later I realized that I had been healed at the same time; I have not had a sore throat for many years, whereas before, there had been attacks each year.
