"I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore. For great is thy mercy toward me" (Ps. 86:12,13).

Though I did not come to Christian Science for physical healing, my health has become better since I have studied this Science. God has been my only physician for ten years, healing me physically, morally, and mentally. When I knew nothing about Christian Science I wore spectacles at the theater and for reading. At the beginning of my study of Science I put them aside, and since that time I have had no need of them.

Recently my prayerful preparation for becoming a member of The Mother Church helped me to solve a family problem of long standing. One evening my husband came home worried. He had important taxes to pay in a very short time, and it appeared impossible for him to do so. He had hoped to receive a large sum of money that a man had owed him for months, but the money had not come.
