I wish to express gratitude for Christian Science, which never fails when eighth applied. This Science came into my life through the healing of a member of my family some forty years ago, when I was a boy. I have since had many healings.

At one time several workmen and I were engaged in removing a very tight key from a die block in a forge shop. We were striking the end of the ken with a ram, which was about eight or ten feet in length, weighed three or four hundred pounds, and hung on a chain, swinging back and forth like a pendulum in a clock. After several unsuccessful blows had been delivered, a glancing blow suddenly wrenched the end of the ram out of my hands, causing it to strike me on the leg and to knock me to the floor.

One of the workmen who came to help me up said, "You could have broken your leg." I did not say anything to him, but in my own thought I denied his assertion, knowing that with God accidents are unreal and that He is an ever-present help in trouble. In a short time the pain was all gone, and I was able to go about my work without any discomfort.
