I first took up the study of Christian Science as a young woman when I was healed of a severe rupture in a few treatments. This healing occurred thirty-four years ago and has been permanent.

I have also been healed of painful sore throats, which all through my childhood and until the time I commenced to study Christian Science, occurred once or twice very winter. At one time, through Christian Science help, a silver of glass worked out of the end of my finger without any pain. The piece of glass had been in the finger for many months and had been the cause of suffering every time the end of the finger was knocked.

Many times our two children have been healed of fevers and other ailments through our steadfast adherence to the truth which we learn in Science. At one time our young son was suffering from a sore throat and fever. We were living in a small town, and one Sunday evening we listened to a Christian Science service which was broadcast. The Bible reading was from the first chapter of Genesis, and I became absorbed in hearing this wonderful account of God's creation. When I thought of my son again, he was cool, and went back to school Tuesday morning, perfectly well.
