About twenty-five years ago I was searching for a God of love and justice. In my search I attended many orthodox churches, but something always seemed lacking in their concept of God. I could not understand how God, the Father of all mankind, could bring such misery and unhappiness to His creation. When a friend turned to Christian Science for a healing for her child, I was led to investigate this religion, for to me this healing seemed a miracle. I started attending church services regularly, and the peace and joy I experienced far surpassed anything I had ever known.

Agreat great deal of fear had to be routed, as I had been raised in a home that was full of fear and superstition. Slowly Love replaced that fear, and as I began to under stand what perfect Love is, all superstition and fear fell away like a discarded mantle.

I progressed slowly but steadily and had many healings. At one time I dislocated my hip. All I understood was that I was made in the image and likeness of God and was therefore perfect in His sight, and this concept of man healed me.
