The meeting opened with the singing of Hymn No. 141 in the Christian Science Hymnal, "If the Lord build not the house." After the singing of the hymn Mrs. Eleanor L. Meader, Secretary to the Board of Trustees, The Christian Science Publishing Society, read a letter of greeting from The Christian Science Board of Directors and the keynote message from the Board of Trustees of The Christian Science Publishing Society.
