I wish to express my deep gratitude...
I wish to express my deep gratitude to our Father-Mother God for having been reared in Christian Science by a dear grandmother, from the age of three years.
For almost half a century Christian Science has been my only physician. So-called childhood diseases were very few and were quickly met. I was healed of influenza during the First World War. I witnessed a healing of my grandmother of blood poisoning after gangrene had set in.
Through the work of a Christian Science practitioner I too was healed of blood poisoning. My thumb was swollen to four times its normal size. When I was very fearful, the practitioner came to see me, and while he was there the thumb opened up and began to drain. In a few days it was entirely normal.
