Christian Science has given me a better understanding of what God is, and this understanding has enabled me to heal myself of a difficulty which might have been considered serious.

One night about two hours after retiring I was seized with severe pain, and on trying to arise from the bed, I fell to the floor unable to use one side of my body. Immediately the truths I had been pondering before retiring came to my thought. I declared aloud that God made me upright and that I could stand for Truth; that I was not afraid, because God was present. The pain left immediately, and I was able to stand and then to walk up and down, thanking God aloud. This healing, which took place about thirteen years ago, will always be a reminder to me that all things are possible to God.

Another outstanding healing was that of an unsightly growth in both my ears. As soon as man's relationship to God was realized, the growths disappeared.
