HOME NOT A PLACE

Where can I find a home harmonious, complete;
From fears and strife secure and undisturbed?
In consciousness, not matter—bricks or clay. Already mine,
Within my knowledge of man's unity with God.

The light that floods my home is spiritual discernment;
Its radiant warmth is love expressed.
Immovable, upon the rock of understanding founded,
Therein I find contentment, comfort, rest.

The walls encircling my abode are consecration;
Its roof is protecting gratitude.
Intelligence and peace abide in every room
Of home, a power divine I now can prove.

Praise and rejoicing open wide the doors
To all who are in need
Of healing, poise, refreshment, and assurance
That knowing God's all-powerful love is home indeed.
