I too can sing with the Psalmist (Ps. 46:1), "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."

When Christian Science was presented to me over thirty-five years ago by a loved one, I was discouraged, unhappy, and in a depressed state of mind; I was having medical treatment for a severe physical condition, and I was about to submit to a surgical operation. One of the workers in my husband's office told him that his wife had had a severe physical difficulty and through Christian Science had been greatly benefited.

My husband recommended that I try Christian Science, and I did. The operation was not performed; and although my healing was slow and the way has not been easy, there has never been any desire to turn back. Little by little the truth has unfolded to me, and for many years I have been well and leading an active, useful life.
