What was told me about Christian Science about twenty years ago caused me to investigate this religion. The peace which came with the reading of the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, has always remained with me. Although, at first, I did not realize how this had been accomplished, I had a deep inner conviction that Christian Science would give me spiritual understanding. The ensuing years have been blessed with countless opportunities for proving that God is good and that, as His children, we are never separated from His loving care.

The mesmerism of fear and timidity was broken one Wednesday evening when I arose from my seat at a Christian Science testimony meeting and expressed publicly my gratitude to God for a physical healing of my husband.

The tendency to be critical and to listen to subtle suggestions of evil that would have me believe I was the object of criticism was recognized as unreal and powerless because un-Godlike. This was dissipated in the measure that I gained a better understanding of God as Father-Mother, as Love and Truth, and of the nature of the children of God as loving and truthful. I am unspeakably grateful for the freedom and happiness which, have been the result of this better understanding of God and man. I am grateful for the good work of the practitioner who helped me.
