For many years the testimonies in the Christian Science periodicals have been a source of great comfort and help to me. In fact, in my very early days in Christian Science the testimonies were the first things I turned to, and many, many times the comfort and encouragement they gave me were beyond words. I therefore submit this testimony in loving gratitude.

I lost my home and my material possessions in the blitz. I moved about from place to place, but was always hoping that I might have a home of my own once more. I did much earnest work and spent many hours in the Christian Science Reading Room and had help from a loving practitioner. I also took the human footsteps that I was led to take. For a long time there seemed no result; then quite suddenly the very flat which I had always wanted and had thought quite unattainable was offered to me, showing me clearly the truth of Jesus' declaration (Mark 10:27), "With God all things are possible."
