Having gone through experiences which have proved to me beyond all doubt the efficacy of Christian Science as a healing power, I feel I can delay no longer in expressing my gratitude in writing for this wonderful gift to mankind and for the way in which it has helped and supported me over a number of years.

My first healing took place when I was six. With the help of a Christian Science practitioner, completely new skin appeared on my back after almost boiling water had inadvertently been poured over me in my bath. However, not until my early twenties did I realize that Christian Science is not just a religion. but that its teachings provide a complete explanation of Life, God, and its healing power can be applied effectively to every type of human discord.

The healing which brought about this rebirth occurred after a long period of doubt and darkness, caused by a semimental and semiphysical malady, which haunted me in all my waking hours. After tireless and patient help from a practitioner. my release came suddenly one day whilst I was sitting in a train, pondering a statement from an article published in one of the Christian Science periodicals. Something seemed to give inside me, and I was filled with a great sense of peace and happiness. At the same time a host of what had till that moment seemed very real worries and pains just vanished into their native nothingness.
