To enumerate the benefits I have received from the study of Christian Science during the past thirty-three years would be impossible.

I am indeed grateful for the healings of my father of spinal trouble and of my mother of inflammatory rheumatism which took place when I was quite young. They were ill at the same time, and being the oldest of three children, I can clearly remember my anxiety for them and for our home. My world looked pretty desolate for a while. Then I saw my mother reading from a book, later discovered to be "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, which a neighbor had given her. Suddenly both Mother and Father were well. This experience was a great joy to me and has been an inspiration throughout the years.

Through the clear realization of man's relationship to God, I have been able to work with people of different nationalities harmoniously for many years, both in the teaching profession and in directing a choral group whose language I did not understand.
