I first heard of Christian Science...

I first heard of Christian Science about sixteen years ago through the kindness of a friend. I had been in bed for six weeks, and the doctor had stated that there was a spot on my lungs. I then decided to have Christian Science help, and a message was sent to a Christian Science practitioner. She came immediately to see me, and the very quickness of her coming seemed to awaken me out of the dream of sickness. She asked me if I would not like to get up, which I did, and we read from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. A few days later an X ray was taken, which showed that the condition had completely healed.

During wartime Christian Science was of wonderful help to me when my husband was wounded and missing in action. Through work done by a practitioner fear was overcome, for me, and my husband was also benefited by this help. At this time I was also healed of smoking.

Twice we have had help in selling houses by holding to the thought that whatever really blesses one must bless all concerned. Missing articles have been found through our application of the truth.
