LETTERS TO THE PRESS FROM CHRISTIAN SCIENCE COMMITTEES ON PUBLICATION

Even before several of your readers railed my attention to your thought-provoking editorial entitled. "'No Peace on Earth." I had laid it aside for a more careful reading. What a happy day it will he when the followers of God, or good, submerge the lesser in the greater, when the opinions of man are not allowed to becloud that challenging statement made by Christ Jesus (John 13:34), "A new commandment I give unto you. That ye love one another."

There are encouraging aspects, and one of them is the fad that in recent years many churches have. instituted study groups which actively concern themselves with investigating religions other than their own. During the last two ears it has been the privilege of this office to accept several invitations for addresses on Christian Science to groups of church workers or Sunday School students. These addresses have been delivered in Methodist, Presbyterian, Congregational, and Episcopal churches, and two more invitations for the coming week have been accepted. In every such instance the greatest spirit of friendliness has prevailed. A period of questions and answers following the prepared address enables those in attendance to request additional information.
