"I WILL LIFT UP MINE EYES UNTO THE HILLS"

At this season of the year we turn with gratitude to the Bible record of the resurrection. Jesus rose from the dead more than nineteen hundred years ago, but the e fleets of his resurrection are perpetual. They come to remind us of the need of a consciousness quickened spiritually to perceive the limitless possibilities of good.

We each possess spiritual consciousness, for our true identity is in our relationship to the great First Cause, Spirit, God. We are spiritually quickened by all we experience in the demonstration of reality, and to experience this quickening is to take part in our own resurrection. If we wish to enjoy the fellowship of Truth, we must become familiar with the Christ. In the words of Paul (Phil. 2:5), "Let this mind be in [us], which was also in Christ Jesus."

The physical senses have no direct evidence of Spirit. They do not cognize true being, but obscure our vision. What is the resurrective sense? The resurrective sense is the understanding that Life, God, can never be buried in matter, but exists as Spirit and is expressed through spiritual laws of progress.
