Christian Science was first introduced into our home many years ago by my mother, who was in great need. My father had passed on very suddenly, leaving her with two young children, another to be born several months later, and very few material resources.

My mother accepted a position in business in order to help support us. and one of her colleagues, noticing a rather disfiguring rash on her face, asked her if she would like Christian Science treatment for this. With the usual assurance of the uninformed, my mother remarked that she did not believe in these "newfangled religions," but that she would try anything once. Treatment was given, and the result was an instantaneous healing.

Since that time we have proved that when we earnestly and correctly apply Christian Science, it does all that its Discoverer and Founder, Mrs. Eddy, claims that it will. In our home I have witnessed many healings, among which was an instantaneous one of a broken blood vessel; another healing was of double rupture. The member of my family who experienced the latter healing had worn a truss for years. There has been freedom from accidents, supply has been demonstrated, and harmony attained. All this fruitage we have enjoyed through our putting into practice what we know of this practical truth, Christian Science.
