Sunday School and Congregational Singing
Many churches that have not formerly done so are now holding Sunday School exercises simultaneously with the morning church service. When a change in the Sunday School hour is under consideration, the question is sometimes asked, "Will the singing in the Sunday School in any way disturb the church service?"
For the protection of the service some churches have made arrangements for the two hymns to be sung in Sunday School at the same time that the church congregation sings the first and last hymns. In order to thus synchronize the singing, The Mother Church uses a buzzer system which is operated by the pressing of a button in the Church auditorium.
