Years ago I had what would be termed by materia medica a nervous breakdown. During that period of darkness my husband passed on suddenly. I was in such a weakened condition that life as I understood it then no longer held any interest for me. My youngest sister, who was a student of Christian Science, was with me at the time. She helped me to read the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly, and I gradually regained my strength. I became well enough to go back to work, and I attended the Wednesday evening testimony meetings. It was through my sister's prayer and my desire to know more of this healing truth that my complete recovery resulted.

Words are inadequate to express my gratitude to Christ Jesus and to Mary Baker Eddy. I am deeply grateful for our Reading Rooms and for all the workers in the Christian Science movement.—(Mrs.) Margaret Jane Todd, Laguna Beach, California.

I should like to verify my sister's testimony. I am very grateful for the years of study I have had in Christian Science. Many years ago I decided that the one thing worth striving for was spiritual understanding of God and man. Jesus said (John 8:32), "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
