A PRAYER

Mary H. Oliver

I would be quiet, Father-Mother God,
And hear Thy voice,
And, hearing, do Thy will.
Thou who knowest best what I should do,
Teach me, I humbly pray.
I would reflect Thy love, O Love divine,
And comfort those athirst for Truth,
That they may see the glorious light of day.
So in the joy of loving ministry
I'd help them to be free.
