Like many others, I have for some years reaped the benefits of the wonderful testimonies given in the Christian Science periodicals, and in gratitude to God for His unceasing love, and with the hope that it will be of help to others, I should like to tell of a demonstration that has meant much to me.

One day while I was on my way to keep a business appointment, my right leg suddenly went helpless, and I could not seem to stand. I was able to get into a nearby doorway where I supported myself against the wall and declared the truth. There also seemed to be a very bad condition of the heart. I immediately turned to God for help. I realized that no matter how serious the situation might seem, it could not affect or change the law of God in any way for any time. After about ten minutes I was able to make my way with great difficulty to a nearby store, where I found a telephone and called a practitioner. She told me she would start work at once; and while I rested a while I read an article in one of the Christian Science periodicals I had with me, and it was very helpful.

Within a very short time the heart condition abated, and soon I was able to walk with very little evidence of any difficulty. I walked four blocks to a lawyer's office, and I was able to transact a difficult business matter, I then drove thirty-five miles to my home, I had a very good night's rest and the next morning was better than I had been for several weeks.
