Mansions built of clay or stone?
No, Mansions built of Love alone.
here the prodigal may atone
In my Father's house.

Mansions built of brick or wood?
No, These have not time withstood.
Structure is of Truth and good
In my Father's house.

Is it true, this story old?
"If it were not, I would have told."
Truth will constantly unfold
In my Father's house.

A welcome warm life's joys will share:
A shelter from all toil and care.
Weary heart, seek refuge there
In my Father's house.
