ANGEL THOUGHTS

[Of Special Interest to Children]

Helen was in the third grade at school. She was very contented because she had made many friends and they had such good times together at school, on the playground, and in their homes.

One night when her father came home he told Helen and her mother that he had been offered a fine position and that if he accepted it they would have to move to another city. However, there they would have a new house of their own with a pleasant yard, and nearby there was an excellent school, as well as a Christian Science Sunday School.

Helen's parents were very happy, but she fell dejected about leaving all her friends, her teacher, and her school. So her father explained that the new position was just as much a promotion for him as her promotion from the second grade to the third had been for her. Then he laughed and said that he knew that she would not want him always to stay in the second grade. Even thinking of her father in the second grade made Helen chuckle a bit.
