Gratitude for all the blessings I have experienced since taking up the study of Christian Science prompts me to give this testimony. Christian Science came to me in the darkest hour of my life, saving me from the depths of despair and putting me on firm ground. I was suffering from a nervous breakdown and had lost all interest in life.

This religion was known to me only by name. I went to a woman whom I knew to be a Christian Scientist in the hope that God could help me. She received me most lovingly, and how comforting it was to hear her say, "You are the child of God; no evil can befall you." She began to work for me immediately. When I left her, I felt calmer, and peace such as I had not known in a long time came over me. What appeared to me then as a miracle had taken place, for I was entirely healed of the nervous breakdown. I was also healed of constipation and of a corn on my foot.

How grateful I am that I was receptive to the truth which Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, taught. I am also grateful that our son was brought up in this teaching and that he could attend the Christian Science Sunday School.
