THE WORLD'S GREAT NEED
Mankind's desire to worship and adore the one God is the most effective weapon they possess. By fulfilling this desire according to individual capacity a protest is entered, not against an evil reality, but for the nature of man as the son and beloved expression of God. Evil is not real. True prayer leads to the demonstration of spiritual truths which relieve humankind of belief in evil, in sin, disease, and death. War will cease, and men will find true satisfaction in spiritual activity proportionably as such prayer is utilized as the first line of defense against the belief in evil and the spearhead which takes the things of God and makes them available to mankind.
Can you and I stand idly by as the serpent of material sense, the belief in evil, increases its demands upon the time and energies of mankind? Can we do less than take upon ourselves the twofold obligation of the Christian, namely, the establishment in individual consciousness of the reign of righteousness, which proves the allness of good, and the bringing of the Word of God, and hence the reign of good, to all others, whose destiny is not less noble than our own?
